Basketball Game Preview: Salem Seminoles vs. Banneker Trojans + How To Watch

The Salem Seminoles will take on the Banneker Trojans in a holiday battle at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The timing is sure in Salem's favor as the squad sits on five straight wins at home while Banneker has been banged up by ten consecutive losses on the road dating back to last season.

While Salem didn't have the best season last year (they finished 13-17), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They walked away with a 63-51 win over Towers on Friday. Given the Seminoles' advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 141st, while the Titans are ranked 354th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Banneker played a tough contest on Saturday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They lost 71-49 to Southwest Atlanta Christian.

Salem's victory bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Banneker, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-6.

Everything came up roses for Salem against Banneker in their previous meeting back in November of 2016, as the team secured a 75-43 win. Do the Seminoles have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Trojans turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
