Basketball Game Preview: Elkins Tigers vs. East Fairmont Bees

Last Tuesday, Elkins blew past Liberty, posting a 69-41 win. The contest marked the Tigers' most dominant victory of the season.

Meanwhile, East Fairmont strolled past Lincoln with points to spare on Tuesday, taking the game 63-47. The win continues a trend for the Bees in their matchups with the Cougars: they've now won five in a row.

East Fairmont's win came from a few key players Elkins will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Jaxon Conaway, who posted 11 points in addition to five rebounds and three blocks. He continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last four games he's played. Another player making a difference was Cole VanGilder, who went 5-for-7 on his way to 14 points.

Elkins' victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 8-9. As for East Fairmont, their win bumped their record up to 7-9.
