Baseball Game Preview: El Dorado Golden Hawks vs. Villa Park Spartans

For the second straight game, El Dorado will face off against Villa Park. The Golden Hawks are taking a road trip to take on the Spartans at 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday. El Dorado's pitching crew has only allowed 3.1 runs per game this season, so Villa Park's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

El Dorado is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They put the hurt on Villa Park with a sharp 18-2 victory on Monday. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Nate Tierney tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits over five innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two hits in three consecutive appearances.
