Volleyball Recap: Mcbee's Win on Wednesday Extends Winning Streak to Five + How To Watch

McBee had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They blew past the Ware Shoals Hornets 3-0 on Wednesday. The victory was familiar territory for the Panthers, who have now won five matchups in a row.

McBee walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the second set). The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-13, 25-21.

Emma Goff was the offensive standout of the contest as she had 11 digs and three aces. She has been hot, having posted two or more aces the last five times she's played.

Goff wasn't the only good servers: McBee was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 11 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in 27 consecutive matches dating back to last season.

McBee's victory bumped their record up to 17-3. As for Ware Shoals, their loss dropped their record down to 6-9.

Looking ahead, McBee will take on Governor's School for Science & Math on Monday. Ware Shoals does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
