Football Recap: Akron Has No Trouble Against Lewiston-Porter

Akron was handed a heart-breaking two-point defeat in their last matchup, but they sure didn't let that happen against Lewiston-Porter on Wednesday. The Tigers blew past the Lancers 32-6. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Tigers' offense, which had struggled in the games prior.

The win snapped Akron's losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 3-6-1 record. As for Lewiston-Porter, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-6-1.

Looking ahead, Akron is taking a road trip to square off against Western New York Maritime Charter at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Lewiston-Porter does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
