Volleyball Recap: Agnes Irwin Starts off Right with Win over Conestoga

Agnes Irwin had to kick off their season on the road on Friday, but they showed no ill effects. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Conestoga Pioneers.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-17, 17-25, 25-21.

Conestoga's loss came despite strong showings from Ava Chung and Emory Owens. Chung had 11 digs and three assists, while Owens had 12 kills, 11 digs, and seven aces.

Agnes Irwin has already played their next game (against Valley Forge Military Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Conestoga, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Non Varsity Opponent on the 26th.
