Volleyball Recap: Clearfield Takes a Loss

Clearfield lost against Bountiful back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Falcons lost 3-0 to the RedHawks.

While Clearfield was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Bountiful's winning margin in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-19, 25-23.

Reagan Ford paced Clearfield's offense, picking up ten kills. Ford got some help from Ava Rasband and her 19 assists. Rasband also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Maggie Borchert, racking up two apiece.

Clearfield's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Bountiful, their victory was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Clearfield will challenge Granger at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Bountiful, they will take on West Field at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
