Daniel Boone entered their tilt with Tennessee on Wednesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They walked away with a 7-4 win over the Vikings. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 10-4 back in March.

Jacob Carr was excellent, going 2-for-4 with two RBI and one run.

Daniel Boone's victory bumped their record up to 11-7. As for Tennessee, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-6.

Daniel Boone and Tennessee could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Tennessee Rankings. The Trailblazers will challenge Knoxville Central at 11:00 a.m. on Friday with a big rank disadvantage (98 vs. 31). Meanwhile, Tennessee (ranked 68th) will meet Atlantic Collegiate Academy (ranked 13th) at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.
