Soccer Recap: Piedmont Comes Up Short + How To Watch

After soaring to four goals the game before, Piedmont was a bit more limited in their contest on Wednesday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Weddington Warriors. While losing is never fun, Piedmont can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 228th, while Weddington are ranked 57th).

Piedmont has also been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-14-4 record this season. As for Weddington, their victory bumped their record up to 8-9-4.

As of now, neither Piedmont nor the Warriors have any future games scheduled.
