Volleyball Recap: Cartersville Extends Winning Streak to Three

Cartersville waltzed into their matchup on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the South Forsyth War Eagles. The Hurricanes were shut out 2-0 the last time they took on the War Eagles, so the Hurricanes were just returning the favor.

Cartersville can attribute much of their success to Mckenzie Wilkie, who had 12 digs and four assists. That's the most assists Wilkie has posted since back in October of 2024.

Cartersville's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for South Forsyth, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Cartersville wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Norcross on the 9th. As for South Forsyth, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Starr's Mill on the 9th.
