Despite running the score up even higher than they did on Monday (55), Maclay still had to take the loss.
Maclay's lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Nash Beshears, who scored 11 points along with 9 rebounds and 5 steals. Keller Bridges was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with 5 rebounds.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Florida State University High School to victory, but perhaps none more so than Trey Card, who scored 9 points along with 5 assists. Another player making a difference was Amare Robinson, who scored 14 points.
Maclay now has a losing record at 2-3. As for Florida State University High School, their win bumped their record up to an identical 2-3.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing Lincoln the next time they take the court. Florida State University High School will host Lincoln at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, while Maclay will host them at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
