Volleyball Recap: Pope John Paul II Takes a Loss

If Pope John Paul II was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Mandeville on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Jaguars took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Dunham Tigers on Friday. The Jaguars were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Tigers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Pope John Paul II's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Dunham, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Pope John Paul II has already played their next game, a 2-1 loss against Dutchtown on the 5th. As for Dunham, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Eleanor McMain on the 6th.
