Soccer Game Preview: Port Clinton vs. Huron

The Port Clinton Redskins will square off against the Huron Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Port Clinton's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Wednesday. They skirted past Edison 1-0. That's two games straight that Port Clinton have won by just one goal.

Meanwhile, Huron came up short against Perkins on Wednesday and fell 3-1. The defeat continues a trend for Huron in their meetings with Perkins: they've now lost four in a row.

The win got Port Clinton back to even at 6-6-1. As for Huron, their loss dropped their record down to 5-7-1.

Port Clinton was able to grind out a solid victory over Huron when the teams last played back in October of 2024, winning 2-0. Do the Redskins have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Tigers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
