Baseball Recap: Thunderbird Adventist Academy vs. Wickenburg Christian Academy Lion
Thunderbird Adventist Academy extended their losing streak to seven on Thursday, dropping their season record down to 3-9 in the process. They lost 11-0 to the Wickenburg Christian Academy Lion. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Wickenburg Christian Academy this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 15-0 on Monday.
As for Wickenburg Christian Academy, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-2-1. Considering they have won seven contests by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.
For Wickenburg Christian Academy's part, Bam Hogue made a splash while hitting and pitching. He didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out 12 over five innings pitched. Those 12 strikeouts gave Hogue a new career-high.
