Softball Game Preview: Chaparral Pumas vs. Temecula Valley Golden Bears

For the second straight game, Chaparral will face off against Temecula Valley. The Pumas will welcome the Golden Bears at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Chaparral will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each match than the last.

Last Monday, Chaparral sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 12-11 win over Temecula Valley. The Pumas haven't had any issues with the Golden Bears recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive victory against them.

Chaparral got a massive performance out of Keira Beierly, who fired off two home runs and four RBI while going 2-for-3. Marissa Vasquez was another key player, going 2-for-3 with three runs, three RBI, and one triple.

Chaparral was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .400. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .333 or higher in three consecutive games.

Chaparral's win bumped their record up to 3-13. As for Temecula Valley, they have been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 11 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-11 record this season.
