Basketball Game Preview: Joliet West Tigers vs. Butler Lynx + Official Tickets

The Joliet West Tigers will take on the Butler Lynx in a holiday battle at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Having struggled with seven losses in a row, Joliet West turned things around against Romeoville on Thursday. They walked away with a 42-33 win over the Spartans. The Tigers' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Joliet West's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jada Thompson, who posted 14 points. Another player making a difference was Keniya Foster, who earned 13 points and three steals.

Joliet West smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 15 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive boards they've managed all season.

Butler played against Bogan on Friday and won via forfeit.

Joliet West's victory was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 2-7. As for Butler, they now have a winning record of 5-4.
