Basketball Game Preview: Floyd Broncos vs. Grady Bronchos

Floyd hasn't had much luck against Grady recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Floyd Broncos will be home for the holidays to greet the Grady Bronchos at 7:00 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Having struggled with six losses in a row dating back to last season, Floyd turned things around against San Jon on Saturday. They breezed by the Coyotes to the tune of 42-15. The Broncos' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Floyd's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Aaron Blakely led the charge by putting up eight points. Another player making a difference was Adan Nieto, who posted eight points.

Meanwhile, Grady beat To'hajiilee 43-35 last Saturday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bronchos.

Grady's win came from a few key players Floyd will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Trey Rush, who had 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Zander Ciancio, who put up 13 points.

Grady now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Floyd, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-5.

Floyd might still be hurting after the 57-34 defeat they got from Grady when the teams last played back in February. Thankfully for Floyd, Zane Rush (who dropped a double-double on 26 points and ten boards) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
