It was a good run, but Chatsworth unfortunately witnessed the end of their 12-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell 2-0 to the Redondo Union Sea Hawks. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Sea Hawks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 back in February.

The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-16.

Chatsworth's loss dropped their record down to 24-7. As for Redondo Union, the win (which was their 12th in a row) raised their record to 23-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Chatsworth will venture away from home to face off against Taft at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. After both having extra time off, Redondo Union and South will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 5:00 p.m. on the 15th. The Sea Hawks are facing the Spartans at the right time seeing as the Spartans are stuck on a five-game losing streak.
