Football Game Preview: North Bay Haven Academy Buccaneers vs. Bozeman Bucks + Official Tickets

Two dominant signal callers in Caleb Muszynski and Hayden Gay are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The North Bay Haven Academy Buccaneers will welcome the Bozeman Bucks at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. North Bay Haven Academy has given up an average of 33 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when North Bay Haven Academy and Cottondale meet (three straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Friday. The Buccaneers came up short against the Hornets, falling 48-22. The Buccaneers were down 42-14 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Bozeman). They blew past Rutherford 51-27 on Thursday. The victory was familiar territory for the Bucks, who have now won three contests in a row.

The match pitted two dominant signal callers against one another in Gay and Jaleel Reed. Gay had a great game and threw for 231 yards and three touchdowns on only 15 passes. Meanwhile, Reed was balling out in the loss, throwing for 185 yards and a pair of TDs.

Bozeman didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Mac Monteiro and Liam Flaherty. Monteiro is also on a roll when it comes to total tackles, as he's now made five or more in each of the last four games he's played. Bozeman got some further help from Jarret Gay: he picked up two sacks and made five total tackles (3.0 for loss).

North Bay Haven Academy's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Bozeman, their win bumped their record up to 5-3.
