Volleyball Recap: Hanahan Comes Up Short

If Hanahan was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Academic Magnet on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Hawks lost 3-0 to the Oceanside Collegiate Academy Landsharks on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Hawks have suffered since August 28th.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-21, 25-15.

Hanahan's defeat dropped their record down to 4-6-1. As for Oceanside Collegiate Academy, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-1.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Hanahan is set to face off against their familiar foe Orangeburg-Wilkinson at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Oceanside Collegiate Academy will challenge rival North Charleston at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
