Basketball Recap: IDEA Robindale Comes Up Short

IDEA Robindale was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 15th straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a blow against the IDEA Sports Park Stingrays, falling 78-47. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Stingrays this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 53-33 back in November.

IDEA Robindale's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for IDEA Sports Park, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. IDEA Robindale and IDEA Riverview will compete for holiday cheer at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Aviators will be up against the Rockets' rather soft defense (which has allowed 49.92 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for IDEA Sports Park, they will venture away from home to take on IDEA Weslaco Pike at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
