Volleyball Game Preview: Southern Wayne Saints vs. Hunt Warriors + How To Watch

Southern Wayne hasn't had much luck against Hunt recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Saints will be playing at home against the Warriors at 5:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Southern Wayne managed to slip by Southern Nash the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Saints came up short against the Firebirds on Tuesday, falling 3-0.

The final score came out to 25-8, 25-16, 25-11.

Meanwhile, Hunt came up short against Bunn on Wednesday and fell 3-1.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-19, 22-25, 25-16.

Hunt's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Southern Wayne, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-7.

Southern Wayne suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Hunt when the teams last played back in September of 2024. Thankfully for the Saints, Paige Mathews (who had 22 digs and two aces) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result? There's only one way to find out.
