Everything went their way against the Washburn Millers on Thursday as they made off with a 16-1 victory. The Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matches by ten runs or more this season.

Elena Perez made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Perez was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in two of her three plate appearances with two runs and one RBI. That's the most runs she has posted since back in April.

In other batting news, Kennedy got a massive performance out of Audrey Skibbie, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI, one run, and one double. That's the most RBI Skibbie has posted since back in April. Another player making a difference was Emily Spencer, who went 2-for-3 with three runs and one RBI.

Kennedy was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .476. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Washburn only posted a batting average of .200.

The win (which was Kennedy's third in a row) raised their record to 13-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for Washburn, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-11.

As of now, neither Kennedy nor the Millers have any future games scheduled.
