Highlands is a perfect 10-0 against Dayton since September of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Bluebirds will welcome the Greendevils at 7:30 p.m. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

On Thursday, Highlands didn't have quite enough to beat Loveland and fell 2-1. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as Highlands came into the contest with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' soccer rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 35th in Kentucky, while Loveland are ranked 190th in Ohio).

Meanwhile, Dayton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of St. Bernard-Elmwood Place.

Highlands' loss dropped their record down to 6-9-2. As for Dayton, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-14-1.

Highlands took their victory against Dayton in their previous meeting back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 9-0 score. Do the Bluebirds have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Greendevils turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
