Basketball Game Preview: Life Prep Fire vs. Bentonville West Wolverines

The Life Prep Fire and the Bentonville West Wolverines will round out the year against one another at at 12:45 p.m. on Saturday. Life Prep is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 61.9 points per game this season.

Life Prep is headed into the contest having just posted their closest win since March 1st on Saturday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 60-57 victory over Newcastle.

It was another big night for Quinton Rolle Jr, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and 13 rebounds. His afternoon made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Marcian Pickstock, who went 5 of 8 on his way to 13 points.

Bentonville West has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 51-47 heartbreaker at the hands of Central.

Life Prep has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.5 points per game. As for Bentonville West, their defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 6-3.
