It was a good run, but Edwardsville unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Monday. They took a 7-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Waterloo Bulldogs. Having soared to a lofty 15 runs in the game before, the Tigers couldn't push the score so high this time.

Edwardsville's loss dropped their record down to 24-10. As for Waterloo, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-10 record this season.
