Embry Carlton, New Covenant's leader in digs on the season, led the team again on Friday. Carlton turned in nothing short of a gem, getting 15 digs and five aces. She has been hot recently, having posted ten or more digs the last four times she's played.

Looking ahead, Carlton and New Covenant will be playing at home against Blessed Sacrament-Huguenot at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Sadly, Carlton's big day wasn't enough to stop the loss, which snapped the Gryphons' 12-game streak of wins on the road. With the streak broken, Carlton and the Gryphons surely have a bit of extra motivation heading into Tuesday's match.
