Football Recap: Dynamic Duo of Deziya Byrd and Bre'sharia Collier Lead Andrew Jackson to Victory

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Andrew Jackson walked away with it. They took down the West Nassau Warriors 19-0 on Tuesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Tigers.

Andrew Jackson's receiving core played a big role in the win, headlined by Bre'Sharia Collier and Deziya Byrd. Collier threw for 192 yards and two TDs while completing 75% of her passes while Byrd picked up 72 receiving yards and one score. Collier didn't just play on offense: she also made four total tackles and defended two passes. Malekhi Merritt got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Andrew Jackson didn't let much get past them through the air: they limited West Nassau to a completion percentage of just 33.3%.
