Baseball Recap: Oak Grove Classical Academy Comes Up Short

Oak Grove Classical Academy saw some tournament action on Friday. They lost 18-4 to the Texico Wolverines. The Owls have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Isaac Rush made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run while going 2-for-4. James Schroeder was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while getting on base in two of his three plate appearances.

Oak Grove Classical Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Texico, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Coming up, Oak Grove Classical Academy will square off against Magdalena at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Texico, they will face off against Tucumcari at 11:15 p.m. on Saturday. Texico is facing Tucumcari at the right time seeing as Tucumcari is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
