Softball Recap: Boulder Creek Beats Camelback for Their Third Straight Win

Boulder Creek entered their tilt with Camelback on Tuesday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Spartans a 15-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Jaguars, who have now won 11 contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Kinsey Wilcox looked comfortable as she struck out seven batters over 2.1 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and not a single walk). She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in three consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Boulder Creek got a massive performance out of Faith Robinson, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 3-for-4. That's the most runs Robinson has posted since back in February of 2024. Another player making a difference was Naomi Gregory, who went 2-for-3 with four RBI, two runs, and one double.

Boulder Creek hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Camelback struck out seven times.

Boulder Creek's record now sits at 17-4. As for Camelback, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-14.

Coming up, Boulder Creek will look to defend their home field on Thursday against O'Connor at 3:45 p.m. As for Camelback, they will head out on the road to take on South Mountain at 3:45 p.m. on Monday.
