Granbury won the last time they faced Permian and things went their way on Saturday too. The Pirates came out on top in a nail-biter against the Panthers, sneaking past 2-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Pirates.

Granbury had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 19-25, 25-19, 25-15.

Masyn Noe paced Granbury's offense, picking up nine kills. Noe got some help from Mallory Blum and her 19 assists. Blum was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.
