Volleyball Recap: Southwick Regional Beats Sci-Tech for Their Third Straight Win

Southwick Regional entered their tilt with Sci-Tech on Wednesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the CyberCats. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

Southwick Regional walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the third set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 19-25, 25-15, 25-19.

Kaileigh Savva paced Southwick Regional's offense, picking up nine kills. Savva got some help from Taylor Dulchinos and her 12 assists. Shayla McDonagh controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Southwick Regional's win bumped their record up to 6-8. As for Sci-Tech, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-11 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Southwick Regional will square off against rival Pope Francis Prep at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Sci-Tech is set to face off against their familiar foe Ware at 5:15 p.m. on Friday.
