Softball Recap: Enterprise Picks Up Tenth Straight Win at Home

On Tuesday, Enterprise faced Central in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Enterprise Wildcats' pitchers stepped up to hand the Central Red Devils a 1-0 shutout. For the Wildcats, this counts as revenge for the 14-5 win the Red Devils walked away with the last time they faced one another back in May of 2024.

Enterprise's victory was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 10-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.4 runs over those games. As for Central, their loss ended a nine-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 16-2.

Looking ahead, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Enterprise Wildcats duke it out with T.R. Miller Tigers at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average, (T.R.
