Big Game from Korba As Peru Fell 29-16
Peru had to settle for second on Friday, but Isaiah Korba sure wasn't going down easily. Korba was dynamite, rushing for 163 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 7.1 yards per carry. He was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 52 yards.
Peru dropped their record down to 3-5 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season. Korba and Peru will take on Manchester on Friday.

A Season-Best Performance from Aiden Robinson Leads Maconaquah over Wabash
On Friday, Maconaquah got the W thanks in part to Aiden Robinson playing the best football he has all season. Robinson wasn't messing around, throwing for 376 yards and seven touchdowns while completing 78.3% of his passes. The match was his sixth straight with three or more passing touchdowns dating back to last season.
The victory for Maconaquah keeps them at an undefeated 7-0-1. Robinson and Maconaquah will be playing at home against Rochester at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Marcell Sims and Co. Win Sixth in a Row
Marcell Sims was instrumental in extending Maconaquah's winning streak to six on Friday. Nobody could stop Sims as he picked up 178 receiving yards and two touchdowns, and also rushed for 64 yards and a touchdown. He torched the secondary when he pulled down a catch that went for 71 yards.
On the season, Sims has caught those 2 touchdowns while averaging 38.1 receiving yards per game.

Beck Made His Presence Known in Rochester's 29-0 Win
Brant Beck's big game helped extend Rochester's winning streak to six on Friday. Nobody could stop Beck as he rushed for 105 yards and a touchdown on only nine carries. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his sixth straight game with at least 105 rushing yards dating back to last season.
Unfortunately for Southwood, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Beck. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Beck saw the Knights), he rushed for 91 yards and a touchdown on only nine carries.
