T.J. Kennedy normally opens holes for touchdowns, but Friday he rushed for one.

His twitter handle is @moose6617, so that should give you a hint what was coming at Joplin (Mo.) Friday night at the goal line.

But not quite. The Eagles weren't quite sure what hit them.

T. J. Kennedy, a 6-foot-6, 340-pound senior tackle and defensive end at Lee's Summit (Mo.), sort of plunged over the right side for a 2-yard touchdown "run" during his team's 40-26 Class 6 District 4 opening win at Joplin.

This wasn't Kennedy's first carry of the season. He had one three-yard carry that did not go for a touchdown earlier in the season for the Tigers.

This one did and the reaction in the stands and his teammates was enormous. Much like Kennedy, who is an All-Conference and punishing offensive tackle.

According to Kennedy, he's been nicknamed "Moose," ever since he was little. Whenever that was.
