Soccer Recap: Immokalee Comes Up Short

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Immokalee couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They came up short against the Mitchell Mustangs on Friday, falling 3-0. The game was up for grabs at halftime, but sadly the Indians struggled afterwards.

Immokalee's loss dropped their record down to 16-5-1. As for Mitchell, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 19-2-2 record this season.

Immokalee does not have any more games scheduled as of now. We've got a battle between Mustangs coming up. Both teams are coming into the contest red-hot, with Lakewood Ranch sitting on five straight victories and Mitchell on four.
