Grant hadn't done well against Antelope recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. Grant walked away with a 3-1 win over Antelope. This was payback for the Pacers, who suffered a 3-1 loss the last time these two teams met.

While Grant might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Antelope scored at least 18 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-21, 23-25, 25-18.

Sosaia Noa paced Grant's offense, picking up 27 kills. Noa got some help from Sky Xiong and his 22 assists. Noa was also solid from the service line: he led the team with five aces.

Despite the loss, Antelope still got an impressive performance from Alex Sweetman, who had five digs and two aces. Sweetman has been hot, having also posted 16 or more assists the last seven times he's played.

Grant's victory bumped their record up to 7-5. As for Antelope, their defeat ended an 11-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 10-5.

Grant has already played their next matchup, a 3-2 win against Cordova on the 25th. As for Antelope, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against West Park on the 25th.
