Volleyball Recap: Ellicott Comes Up Short

Ellicott was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Prospect Ridge Academy Miners.

The match finished with set scores of 25-2, 25-9.

Ellicott's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Prospect Ridge Academy, their victory was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ellicott will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Colorado Springs Christian at 6:30 p.m. on the 18th. As for Prospect Ridge Academy, they will take on Elizabeth at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
