Basketball Recap: Centennial Picks Up Third Straight Win on the Road

Centennial hadn't done well against Beechcroft recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Centennial Stars managed a 55-49 victory over the Beechcroft Cougars. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 65-59 back in December of 2024.

Centennial pushed their record up to 11-3 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. As for Beechcroft, their loss dropped their record down to 5-8.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Centennial will venture away from home to face off against East at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Beechcroft, a feisty cat fight is on tap when the Beechcroft Cougars challenge the Linden-McKinley Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on January 24th.
