Softball Recap: Bishop Canevin Takes a Loss

Monday just wasn't the day for Bishop Canevin's offense. They lost 21-0 to the South Side Rams on Monday. The Crusaders haven't had much luck with the Rams recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Bishop Canevin's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for South Side, they moved to 4-6 with that win, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

Coming up, Bishop Canevin will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Union Area at 4:00 p.m. The Crusaders' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Scotties have averaged an impressive 12.9 runs per game this season. As for South Side, they will head out on the road to take on Mohawk Area at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday. The Warriors will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Rams surely won't give up without a fight.
