Volleyball Recap: Peachtree Ridge Falls to Fulton Science Academy in First Game of Season

Peachtree Ridge unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They fell just short of the Fulton Science Academy Mustangs by a score of 2-1 on Tuesday. While the Lions didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Mustangs 25-19 in the first set.

Peachtree Ridge actually scored more points across those three sets (62-61), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The match finished with set scores of 19-25, 27-25, 15-12.

Peachtree Ridge will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Seckinger at 5:30 p.m. on April 23rd. Fulton Science Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
