The Kimberly Bulldogs will face off against the Buhl Indians at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Kimberly took a loss when they played away from home on Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Monday. They never let Gooding get on the board and left with a 10-0 victory. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last three times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Jeremiah Bybee was a major factor no matter where he played. He didn't allow a single earned run while striking out seven over four innings pitched. That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in March of 2024. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with three RBI.
In other batting news, Ryder Stephenson was a standout: he went 2-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double. That's the most hits he has posted over his last ten matches. Cash Gardner was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one run.
Kimberly hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Gooding struck out eight times.
The home team had won the previous three meetings between Buhl and Filer, and Buhl kept the tradition alive. The Indians put the hurt on the Wildcats with a sharp 8-0 win on Monday. The victory continues a trend for the Indians in their matchups with the Wildcats: they've now won three in a row.
Like Kimberly, Buhl also got a great game from a two-way player: Remington Higley. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over seven innings pitched. Higley has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two walks in eight consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Porter Higley, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Kannon Gambrel, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.
Kimberly has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-7 record this season. As for Buhl, their win bumped their record up to 15-6.
Buhl's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Kimberly hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .373. It's a different story for Buhl, though, as they've only averaged .259. Will they be able to contain Kimberly's hitters?
Kimberly came out on top in a nail-biter against Buhl in their previous matchup on Wednesday, sneaking past 2-1. Do the Bulldogs have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Indians turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
