Softball Recap: Leetonia Bears vs. East Palestine Bulldogs
Leetonia extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to 30 on Monday, dropping their season record down to 0-14 in the process. They lost 13-1 to the East Palestine Bulldogs. Having soared to a lofty 11 runs in the game before, the Bears couldn't push the score so high this time.
Leetonia saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Audrey Ellis-Russell, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one RBI. Payton Gray also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: East Palestine beat Leetonia by a score of 16-6 on Wednesday.
