The Leland Chargers will venture away from home to challenge the Piedmont Hills Pirates at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The teams are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Leland has struggled recently with three defeats in a row, while Piedmont Hills will arrive with three straight wins.

Last Wednesday, Leland ended up a good deal behind Independence and lost 59-43.

Meanwhile, Piedmont Hills earned a 47-36 victory over Prospect on Wednesday.

Piedmont Hills' win bumped their record up to 9-6. As for Leland, their loss dropped their record down to 10-7.

Everything came up roses for Leland against Piedmont Hills in their previous meeting back in January of 2022, as the squad secured a 74-41 victory. In that match, Leland amassed a halftime lead of 37-10, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Friday.
