Volleyball Game Preview: Herndon Hornets vs. George C. Marshall Statesmen

Herndon hasn't had much luck against George C. Marshall recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Hornets are taking a road trip to challenge the Statesmen at 6:00 p.m.

On Thursday, Herndon didn't have quite enough to beat Wakefield and fell 3-2.

Meanwhile, George C. Marshall entered their tilt with Herndon on Tuesday with seven consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with eight. They came out on top against the Hornets by a score of 3-1.

George C. Marshall's victory bumped their record up to 15-10. As for Herndon, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-15.

Herndon couldn't quite get it done against George C. Marshall in their previous meeting on Tuesday as they fell 3-1. Can the Hornets avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
