Softball Recap: Bogue Chitto Comes Up Short

After soaring to 16 runs the game before, Bogue Chitto was a bit more limited in their matchup on Tuesday. They lost 14-1 to the Wesson Cobras. The Bobcats have struggled against the Cobras recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.

Bogue Chitto's loss dropped their record down to 8-13. As for Wesson, their win bumped their record up to 15-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bogue Chitto will venture away from home to square off against Terry at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Bulldogs have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 7.17 runs per game on average), something the Bobcats will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Wesson, they will face off against Port Gibson at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Cobras are facing the Blue Waves at the right time seeing as the Blue Waves are stuck on a six-game losing streak.
