Meanwhile, Green Lake/Princeton came up short against Montello on Thursday, falling 3-0. The Tigersharks have struggled against the Hilltoppers recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
While Green Lake/Princeton was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Montello's winning margin in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-6, 25-13, 25-17.
Cambria-Friesland's defeat dropped their record down to 5-14. As for Green Lake/Princeton, their loss dropped their record down to 2-15.
