Volleyball Recap: Liberty Christian Takes a Loss

It was a proper cat-fight when Liberty Christian took on Park Tudor on Saturday. The Lions fell 2-0 to the Panthers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Lions of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2021.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-5.

Park Tudor found their leader in sophomore Lizzy Xu, who had six digs and five aces.

Liberty Christian's loss dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Park Tudor, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-8.

Looking ahead, Liberty Christian will head out to challenge Randolph Southern at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Park Tudor, they have already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against University on the 27th.
