Recap: St. Augustine Saints vs. St. Bonaventure Seraphs
It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact the St. Augustine Saints can now relate to. They were just a hair shy of victory on Saturday and fell 21-20 to the Seraphs. St. Augustine's loss signaled the end of their six-game winning streak.
St. Augustine's loss came despite strong showings from Isaiah Hasten and Brady Palmer. Hasten picked up 94 receiving yards and two touchdowns, while Palmer threw for 147 yards and two touchdowns.
Among those leading the charge was Koen Glover, who rushed for 97 yards and a touchdown, and also picked up 50 receiving yards.
St. Augustine's loss dropped their record down to 10-5. As for St. Bonaventure, the last time they lost on the road was back back in October. Having now won three straight away games, they've pushed their record up to 12-3.
St. Augustine does not have any more games scheduled as of now. St. Bonaventure will face off against Folsom at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. Folsom's defense has only allowed 17.7 points per game this season, so St. Bonaventure's offense will have their work cut out for St. Bonaventure.
