Basketball Recap: Lewis Central Takes a Loss

Lewis Central was the 51-40 winner over Creston when they last played one another back in January of 2025, but their luck changed this time around. The Titans were just a bucket shy of victory on Thursday and fell 57-56 to the Panthers. The Titans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lewis Central's loss dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Creston, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-5.

Lewis Central has already played their next matchup, a 52-34 defeat against Gretna on the 16th. As for Creston, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Shenandoah at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
